Constance “Connie” Lynn Elliott passed away on Saturday, December 8th, 2007 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas at the age of 51 after a year’s long battle with cancer. Connie was born on July 10, 1956 in Kansas City, Kansas and was a life-long area resident. She enjoyed crocheting for her family and loved collecting teddy bears. Connie was very spiritual - she believed in angels and the positive spirits around her. She was also a self-made person who contributed a lot to this world and touched so many people through her work and life. She assisted Georgianna W. Oliver, EverGreen Solutions’ CEO, in laying the groundwork and building EverGreen Solutions in June of 2000. As a co-founder of the firm, Connie brought 30 years of invaluable accounting experience, including 23 years of experience within the real estate industry as a Deputy Director of Accounting with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Connie was valued by co-workers and clients alike for her quick wit and her accounting skills. During her time with EverGreen, Connie helped clients improve their accounting and compliance operations by introducing industry best practices and implementing sophisticated technology solutions. Connie was a self-taught SQL/Crystal programmer and assisted in the development of over 300 custom Yardi reports. In addition, Connie held the CP3 tax credit certification. “Connie was greatly respected professionally by the clients of EverGreen Solutions - some of the largest firms in the country,” said Georgianna W. Oliver. “There were many clients who would ONLY work with Connie to resolve an issue. Clients trusted her. There was no task too hard and she was never intimidated by large amounts of work. She could get more done in a week than anyone I know. If someone couldn’t figure something out, they would call Connie.” Connie is survived by her husband of 29 years, Bill Elliott; two sons, Chris Elliott and his wife Jenny, and Timothy Elliott; one granddaughter, Alexandria; her mother, Margaret “Peg” Stimach; two brothers, Stephen Stimach and Michael Stimach; and five sisters, Sharon Baker, Teresa McCollough, Donna Nelson, Mary Jorgensen, and Michelle Turner.
